What's the ground like?

Hednesford have played at Keys Park since 1994, when they moved just 300 yards from their old premises at the Cross Keys ground. The late Sir Stanley Matthews officially opened the ground on the 6th November 1995, after work was completed on the 3,500 capacity stadium that cost £1.3 million to build. Keys Park has since been developed to become one of the biggest and best grounds in the league, boasting a capacity of 6,039 with A-rated Football Association facilities that include two disabled-friendly seated stands, large covered terraces and five toilet blocks. The Wimblebury Terrace runs along the length of the pitch and holds 2,572 spectators, opposite this is the Main Stand that provides seating for 710. Either side of the stand you can find the club shop, toilets, and refreshment outlets. The Main Stand and the Hednesford End also have disabled access and seating. The smaller of the two seated stands is the Hednesford End behind one of the goals and has a capacity of 301. At the other end of the pitch is the Heath Hayes Terrace which provides large covered standing for 1,752 spectators. You can grab a pint in either the Strikers Bar or the Chase Suite, but according to Hednesford Town FC's website, only one bar is usually open for supporters on match day unless the game is segregated.
