Match Report
MYERSCOUGH COLLEGE MEN’s 2nds 2 FC UNITED of MANCHESTER ACADEMY ’A’ TEAM 4

FC United of Manchester’s Academy ’A’ team completed their ECFA North West Men’s Category 2B League programme with a 4-2 away win against Myerscough College Men’s 2nds on Wednesday afternoon thanks largely to an Elliot Jorge Simoes Inacio hat-trick.

ELLIOT JORGE SIMOES INACIO opened the scoring for the Young Reds on 32 minutes with a finish into the top corner to give the academy ’A’ team a 1-0 interval lead before the home side grabbed an equaliser from a corner on 69 minutes.

Further goals from ELLIOT JORGE SIMOES INACIO on 77 minutes (cutting in from the left) and on 81 minutes (slotted into the bottom corner after being set up by Lewis Unwin) put the visitors 3-1 up, before NELSON ONWUSIRI (from another Lewis Unwin cross) made sure of the final result for the visitors with goal number four on 90 minutes, before Myerscough netted a late consolation in time added on.

Depending on remaining results elsewhere, the FC United of Manchester Academy ’A’ team should, hopefully, finish their ECFA league campaign in third place (out of seven).
