October issue of TheNonLeague magazine now available

The October issue of TheNonLeague, the monthly football magazine for supporters of North West non-league football, is available now at just £3. FC United supporters can buy it from the ground at any home match, starting with Sunday’s FA Cup tie against Buxton FC.

The latest issue of the magazine features full length articles on every North West National and National North club including Tranmere Rovers’ Clint Hill and Jay Harris, Barrow’s Neil Ashton, Connor Jennings of Wrexham, Macc skipper Paul Turnbull and Duncan Watmore’s rise from Moss Lane to playing in the Premier League. There are also special features on Curzon Ashton, Stalybridge Celtic, Chorley and Stockport County’s fundraising group ‘help the hatters’.

This month’s issue also includes interviews with former England star Trevor Sinclair, former Bolton Wanderers legend Kevin Davies, former England Women keeper Rachel Brown and members of bands ‘Bodyrockers’ and ‘Blossoms’.

There’s also a special feature on seven-year-old Alfie Lund, a local child with a rare life limiting condition called Mecp2 Duplication Syndrome. His family are aiming to raise awareness of the illness and visited Fc last season for one of our matches.
