FC United of Manchester is a fans-owned football club which owes its existence to the fact that so many of our members are actively involved in running the club.
This course is designed for people who want to find out how getting involved or more involved with FC United of Manchester can help them to develop skills and interests.
The Qualification: Entry Level 3 Certificate in Introduction to Active Fan Ownership accredited by The Manchester College
What will I learn?- What you can get out of volunteering at FC United matches
- How you can get involved in activities to improve your health and fitness
- Have a go at making radio programmes for FC United’s very own radio station.
What qualifications do I need to have already?
None. The course is designed to be accessible to everybody.
What could this lead to? This is an introductory course which prepares people for a more advanced course on football club ownership.
Venue: Woodward Court Temporary Accommodation, Woodward Street, Miles Platting, Manchester, M4 7JP
Times: The course will run two days a week (Tuesdays and Fridays) 11am to 2pm with a break for a meal. The course will start on Tuesday 2nd October and will finish on Friday 26th October. The course includes two free trips to FC United matches.
