Latest staff member takes part in “What’s my job?”

This week our Operations Coordinator Nigel Brookes was the latest member of staff to take part in “What’s my Job?”. The initiative is a careers programme run by the North Manchester Business Network, a group of employers committed to supporting communities and organisations in North Manchester, the aim of which is to expose pupils to a diverse range of workplaces which will help improve social mobility.

Nigel had this to say, “The day was thoroughly enjoyable, with the kids having some very funny suggestions as they attempted to guess my role, particular highlights: security, delivery man and commentator! It was lovely to hear some of them say they had recognised me as they come to Broadhurst Park with their families, showing we are becoming further embedded locally. It’s a great initative and one I’m very happy to take part in on behalf of the club.”
