FC United of Manchester’s Academy ’B’ team recorded their first win of the ECFA North West Invitation 3A league season with this 3-0 away win against Tameside College Stalybridge Men’s 1sts at Stockport Sports Village on Wednesday afternoon.
TEMI OROPO opened the scoring for the Young Reds from close range on 44 minutes after Kane Stockley’s shot had come back off the foot of the post.
On 68 minutes, the visitors increased their advantage as the industrious Abdul Muktadir set up KANE STOCKLEY to make it 2-0.
And on 86 minutes, substitute BLAKE AGHEDO made sure of the final result as he latched on to a through ball from Nario Baptista to steer the ball home and make the final score 3-0 to FC United.
Tameside College played competitively but were unable to find a way past goalkeeper Tom Bamber.
