FC United recorded a 2-1 away win in their pre-season friendly against Evo-Stik Premier League outfit Hyde United at Ewen Fields on Tuesday evening.
LIAM DICKINSON opened the scoring for the visitors with a header on 33 minutes to give FC a one goal lead at the interval and KURT WILLOUGHBY took advantage of a mix-up by the home ’keeper to squeeze the ball home from a tight angle to extend the advantage with a second on 51 minutes.
DAVID BROWN pulled one back for the Tigers on 81 minutes but FC held on for a 2-1 win.
