FC United of Manchester Youth went down to a narrow 0-1 away defeat against top-of-the-table Warrington Town Youth in Wednesday afternoon’s latest National League u19 Alliance Division ’H’ league fixture in Liverpool.

After a goalless first half, thanks mainly to a splendid early save by FC United ’keeper Lenny Fieldhouse, the home side eventually took the lead on 53 minutes.

A long range effort by KIERAN HARRIS took the slightest of deflections before looping up and over the FC United netminder for what proved to be the only goal of the game.
