Weather Watch Ahead of Woodley Fixture

As a result of the continuous cold weather the Gigg Lane pitch is struggling to recover from frost.

However the forecast for tomorrow is looking good with milder temperatures and light rain. At this stage we are hopeful the game will go ahead.

League rules stipulate that, in order to give each fixture every chance of being fulfilled, a pitch inspection must take place by a suitably qualified referee. Once this has taken place we will inform supporters of the outcome of this inspection, via all usual channels. What if the game is off?

If the game is postponed the following will still be open for business:

The Megastall will be open from 11am until 3pm in the usual place.

Course you can Malcolm will be opening as usual from 12 noon until 4:30pm.
