Important Information for Friday Night "Fags"

By all means drink in the pubs near the Met pre match but please, please, please when it gets to 18:45 get yourselves to the upstairs Met bar. It’s run by Automatic (the bar next door) and the prices are the same.

We’ve got singer/guitarist John Reynolds playing live in the bar both pre match and at half time for your entertainment and we need you to turn out in numbers to support him and help generate the atmosphere we’re hoping for.

We’ve also got a raffle with great prizes as well as t-shirts, scarves, programmes and posters for sale. Also, as a special one off for the last night only, we’re having a Fair Share draw. The proceeds from the raffle and the draw are being donated directly to a destination mentioned in the news item recently posted on the Members section of the official website.

Every penny of every purchase from the Souvenir Stall goes to support MaD and the DF so please take a look and see if anything takes your fancy.

Raffle tickets and Fair Share draw tickets will be available pre match and at half time and the Souvenir Stall will be open pre match, half time and after the final whistle.

The show starts at 19:30 and first up, as a special treat for the last night only, we’ve got the inimitable Mike Duff on stage. Following Mike will be the main event and don’t forget you can take your beers to your seats.

We’ve had two great nights so far but with the audience tonight being predominantly FC Supporters (or Owners as we like to recognise them) we’re looking to take our atmosphere into the theatre. So please, please, please (we’re not too proud to beg), lubricate your throats at the bar, empty your pockets at the souvenir stall and flex your wrists (you’ll need them to twirl your bar scarves) in readiness for what we hope will be a memorable last night!

Because it’s the last night, we’ll be having an after show party to which you’re all invited. We’re in discussion with a couple of venues very close to the Met before making a final decision. We should be able to tell you exactly where prior to the evening’s entertainment getting underway and look forward to taking the party into the early hours.
