November poker night - great success.
Congratulations to Luc Zentar, Benn Earnshaw, Dennis Shannon, Mark Daniels who all made it into the money-winning final four in Friday night’s FCUM Poker tournament.
Luc came away with the top prize and nine league points after finally beating motor-mouth Benn Earnshaw with staff at the Castlefield Hotel looking at their watches, anxious to see if they’d ever get away.
Looking to scoop a share of the £650 pot, 21 players toook part rasing just under £300 for FC United. The club’s General Manager, Andy Walsh, kept a seat warm for a little while and he enjoyed it. He said: "As a poker novice I didn’t stay in the game very long but it was a great evening and it looked like everyone had fun."
The next tournament will take place in early December (date to be confirmed) and places are limited so to take part call or text 07971 046652 or email poker@fc-utd.co.uk
