Last week’s match against North Ferriby saw the eggs-iting release of the first ever Course You Can Malcolm DVD. Since Satday, the compliments have come flooding in, with Margy’s labelling us "Manchester’s answer to Lollapalooza."?? Available in four flavours, Withy Grove stores seems to be coming out the fave - which one will you be buying on Monday? With all the love, time and effort that’s gone into it, £7.50 is a cracking price and, as usual, all profits go to the club.

Course You Can Malcolm’s first ever own eggs-tra special brew, Earley Estate Cider, will be on sale for a £5 donation a bockle (750ml). Named after FC’s very own cider fetishist, John Earley, it’s been picked, pulped and ciderised by the fair hands of one of the Oddies and his father in law, David Morgan, on his farmstead in Capler, Herefordshire. It’s around 6% and will be perfect for drinking when you hear the first cuckoo of the year (probably June in Manchester). Mr Morgan has donated the cider to FC so every penny will go towards buliding the chimney breast in our first clubhouse. Earley Estate Cider will be available from the chicks behind the bar.

On the music side we’ve got local rummens Rum Diamond who’ll be playing for the standard 22 minutes. They describe themselves as blues-garage rock and you can listen beforehand on their MySpace www.myspace.com/rumdiamond.

There’s no tater hash this week, but we’ll be flogging our effical crisps (no monopolies, sodium glusomate etsech) and possibly some little butties. Beer, brews and bands as always.
