All Star team for Leek - More ex-players added

Manager, Karl Marginson, has been assembling his squad of ex-players for our All Star team to play against Leek CSOB at Harrison Park this Saturday 11 July 2009, 3pm.

He said: "It’s been great fun getting in touch with old mates and I’ll add in a few of the current squad, especially those like Chaddy and Si Carden who have been with us since that first season. Unfortunately, Rob Nugent will miss out with some excuse about still being on his honeymoon!"

Today Margy was able to confirm the full list of ex-players who will be at Leek:

A few couldn’t make it, but wished us well, including Will Ahern who is injured, Gareth Ormes who is on holiday and Barrie George, who’s now living in China.

Margy explained "It will be mostly old boys in the team, but I’ll be mixing it around a bit. I’ll give a run out to Ben Deegan - story of his signing here - and I’ve also got a triallist who I’m really keen to see in a game, so there will definitely be some new faces in with the old boys. There will be a few of the regular squad to balance out the team, including one or two that have graduated from our youth team." Karl added "I hope a lot of our fans will be able to make the game, because everyone’s really buzzing about it."
