A Match Made in Heaven

Why not get into the seasonal groove, and give your partners and friends a football fans treat?

• Stuff them with fine food and ales in the 1885 Lounge
• Get them cheered onto (and off) the pitch at Gigg Lane
• Spend time with the players after the game

If you are really popular you can be the Match Sponsor for £500**, get your own logo and business advert and logo or your own personal message* in the match programme, on the website and in the e-newsletter. You can invite your friends to join you for drinks and refreshments before the game and at half time in the 1885 Lounge (first 5 free, others £10 each) overlooking the pitch..

You can have fun nominating and presenting the Man of the Match and you can walk away with signed match programmes and the matchball.

But if you want to invite a more select crowd - as a personal gift to friends or family or to wow the partner of your dreams, you can sponsor the Matchball for just £100**. The two of you"¦or them can get close and cuddly in the 1885 Lounge before the game, return to argue over refreshments at half time about who should present and receive the signed ball and be cheered off the pitch. Paintballing is not permitted in the Lounge or on the pitch and guests are only expected to use foul language if they can present a Tourette Syndrome certificate.

After the final whistle you can get souvenir photos of you arguing about who should have got Man of the Match and stuffing your faces. And, if you haven’t already screwed them up to beat your partner with, you can both walk away with a signed match programme. If you want other friends along to watch your memorable moments then they will cost £10 a head.

Those who prefer to have a more refined time might wish to sponsor the Match Programme, adorning it with your own personal or business logo. The two of you"¦or them can get close and cuddly in the 1885 Lounge, read the programme and study sudoko before the game. You can return to the Lounge at half time and scribble match notes on your programmes over refreshments.

After the final whistle you can get souvenir photos of you peering past your programme to someone you fancy while your partner scowls, scoffs away and threatens to throw that free drink down your front. And you can both walk away with signed match programmes with your authentic notes that may fetch you £500 on ebay. Should you want other friends along to watch you caress your programme while you drink then each will cost £10 a head.
