School Holiday Play Schemes

Schools across Greater Manchester will be shut next week and FC United’s community team will be out and about making sure children have got plenty of things to do to keep them active.

We are running playschemes at the following venues:

New Moston Primary School - 10am to 3pm

In conjunction with NEPHRA Residents’ Association and Manchester Council’s Active Lifestyle’s Team. A range of sporting activities for children aged 8-11.

Victoria Mill, Miles Platting - 4pm to 6pm

In conjunction with YPAC and Barnardo’s we are returning to the multi sports area next to the Rochdale canal. For children aged 8-12.

Newall Green Leisure Centre - 1pm to 3pm

In conjunction with Barnardo’s and Newall Green Leisure Centre. These sessions for 8-16 year olds are always well attended.

Everybody is welcome at the above sessions.

The following schools are also hosting play schemes but these schemes are only open to children from these schools because of constraints on capacity at these sites.

- Christ the King RC Primary School in Newton Heath
- Armitage CE Primary School in West Gorton
