Monday 16th August at 11am - Launch Day

Dear fellow FC Supporters, lend us your ears.

You are hereby invited to attend the launch of the new look FCUM Radio on Monday 16th of August at 11am

FCUM Radio was founded in 2006, as a match day commentary service dedicated to FC United’s Armchair Army. Led by a committed and determined bunch of volunteers, over the years, the match day team has been the source of an invaluable service for FC supporters everywhere.

In January 2010, FCUM Radio made strides to expand upon its successful match day operation, and broadcast music programs in the week as well. Beginning with two music shows and one club news program a week, over the course of the last 8 months, FCUM Radio has grown and grown and grown, to incorporate 17 volunteer DJs and 14 hours of original content each week.

On the morning of Monday the 16th of August 2010 at 11am, FCUM Radio makes another leap forward in its development as the radio station dedicated to FC United of Manchester. From this date, FCUM Radio will broadcast brand new content each and every day of the week, incorporating all things club, music and community.

The match day broadcast will of course be the cornerstone of the new line-up in the coming season, but it will be joined by the return of FC United news program This Club Is My Club, as well as a whole host of brand new club related shows, including a new Saturday morning show brought to you by the FC Uth called Children of The Revolution and The Bare Necessities, with FC Assistant Manager Roy Seoule as the show’s first guest.

As well as club related, FCUM Radio will continue to broadcast the best and most credible music and entertainment programming on the radio in Manchester, brought to you by our ever growing army of expert, dedicated and quality presenters. And in joining the FCUM Radio Gig Guide this season, The FCUM Radio Community Guide will expand upon the station’s community ambitions, combining music with news and information on community events within Greater Manchester each and every week.

All of this begins on Monday the 16th of August at 11am, tune in and be a part of history.
