FC United women's team play first match this Sunday

FC United of Manchester’s new women’s team will play their first-ever game this Sunday 8 July 2012 with a friendly against Middleton Athletic Ladies, following very successful trials for the new team, which were held on Sunday 10 June 2012.

FC United supporters are encouraged to attend the women’s team’s first ever game against Greater Manchester Women’s Football League side Middleton Athletic Ladies on Sunday 8 July 2012. Although a friendly match, it’s an historic game as it will be the first time that a women’s team has taken to the field under the FC United of Manchester name.
