FC United launches official You Tube channel

We are delighted to announce the launch of the club’s official YouTube channel - www.youtube.com/FCUnitedMcr

The channel provides a fantastic resource of video footage captured since the club’s formation in 2005. We have pulled together around 377 videos in the channel. These include videos that have been created by FC United fans, as well as interviews and documentaries from wide and varied sources in the UK and beyond. From rare videos of some of our early games through to extensive coverage of the FA Cup run in 2010, the channel also features highlights from recent women’s team games, interviews surrounding the proposed new ground and several videos focusing just on FC fans.

The channel is divided into a number of playlists: -

- Interviews and documentaries

- FC United women’s team
- FC United events including Youth United Day, Minithon, Big Coat Day and A Woman’s Place is at the Match

All of this footage is available as a result of our fans, who have spent time recording, editing and uploading clips for us all to enjoy. Special thanks goes to the FCUM TV team, Neil Boothman, Lee Barrow, Adam Sheldon, History Project Moston, Paul Haworth and many more FC fans.

When you visit www.youtube.com/FCUnitedMcr you’ll hit the landing page that shows the latest match highlights together with a selected number of playlists. To see all the videos in the channel, click on the ’Browse Videos’ tab. Once you select a playlist, other videos within that playlist are displayed at the bottom of your screen to help you to easily find and select each clip.

We hope that by bringing these clips together in one place, it will remind you exactly why FC United is so special and will provide a growing resource of videos that will inspire us to even greater heights in the future.
