KitAid collection this Saturday
FC United will be supporting KitAid once again at our home match v Worksop Town on Saturday 20th April 2013 (“Youth United Day???), when we will be asking football supporters to donate pre-owned football kits at collection points around Gigg Lane, Bury.
KitAid, the Northern Premier League’s official charity partner, is an organisation which collects no longer wanted football kit (shirts, shorts, boots, goalie gloves and shin pads in good condition, also team strips) which is then boxed and sent out to children and adults who also love football but who live in some of the poorest places in the World.
Since 1998, they have collected and sent out over 200,000 items of kit to 40 different countries.
