Rushall Olympic away - admission & travel

Rushall Olympic v FC United of Manchester, Saturday 27th April 2013, Kick Off 3pm

This game is to be played at Dales Lane, Rushall, Walsall, West Midlands, WS4 1LJ.

This game will be pay on the gate. Admission prices are as follows:

Adults £7.50
Concessions £4 (Senior Citizens, Students in full-time education with NUS card, Under-16’s)
Under 16s free when accompanied by a paying adult

Match Information

Turnstiles:

Rushall Olympic would respectfully request that all spectators make their entry into the stadium at Dales Lane well in advance of the scheduled 3pm kick-off time. This is in order to avoid the bottlenecks forming at the turnstiles that were experienced in the corresponding fixture last season, which resulted in the kick-off being delayed.

It is anticipated that three separate turnstiles will be in operation on the day, one for Adults; one for Concessions; and a third specifically for “Rapid Entry???, where spectators passing through will be required to have the correct entrance fee in their possession.

Social Club:

The Social Club will be open to spectators prior to the game, but it should be considered that the venue only has a limited amount of space available.

Last orders will be called in the Social Club at 2:45pm.

At 3pm the Social Club will be CLOSED and must be fully vacated by ALL spectators.

The Social Club will NOT re-open during the half-time interval.

At the discretion of club officials the Social Club will re-open at some point following the end of the game.

Alcohol:

Supporter’s attending the game will NOT be permitted to bring alcohol in to the ground.

If there is any suspicion that individuals may be attempting to gain entry into the ground with alcohol in their possession, Safety Stewards will be positioned at the turnstiles in order to conduct bag searches, with the assistance of Police.

If alcohol is discovered it will be confiscated.

Dales Lane – Other Ground Rules:

1. Spectators must comply with the directions of the Safety Stewards or Police.

2. Spectators must not take dangerous items such as glass bottles, klaxon horns, smoke bombs, fireworks etc. into the ground.

3. Spectators must not invade the playing area.

4. Spectators must not use racist, obscene or offensive language. Rushall Olympic FC is a Family Club.

5. Spectators must not behave in a manner that disrupts the enjoyment or safety of others.

6. Objects must not be thrown onto the pitch.

7. Dogs are not allowed in the ground, except for guide dogs.

8. Rushall Olympic FC reserves the right to refuse admission on to its ground and premises, and to remove from the ground or premises any persons who do not comply with the Dales Lane ground rules and regulations.

Travel

By Coach:

We are now taking bookings for a 3rd coach to Rushall Olympic on Saturday 27th April. The additional coach is subject to demand. If you require a space please book early so the coach can be confirmed with the company.

The coaches will leave at 11am and the cost is £15 for adults and £7 for juniors.

Besides our usual pick up at Chorlton Street the coaches will also be picking up at TGIs, Prestwich, in Stretford and at Knutsford Services.

By car:

M6/J10 – follow signs for Walsall stay on this dual carriageway for about 4 miles until you come to the Walsall Arboretum and turn left following signs for Lichfield A461. Go under the bridge and you will come to McDonalds on your right, turn right into Daw End Lane. Go over the canal bridge and turn right opposite the Royal Oak Public House and the ground is on the right.

Alternative - from the A38 to its junction with the A5 (Muckley Corner Hotel) take the A461 to Walsall after about 5 miles you will reach some traffic lights in Rushall by McDonald’s, turn left into Daw End Lane, go over the canal bridge and turn right opposite The Royal Oak Public House – the ground is on the right.

Car Parking:

£1.00 per car (only a limited number of spaces are available and will be offered on a strictly first come, first served basis)

Disabled Parking:

In order to avoid access issues, an area will be provided on the car park for disabled spectators. However, Rushall Olympic would be grateful if those requiring such spaces to be reserved make contact with Rushall Olympic well in advance of the day of the fixture.

Train:

The nearest train station is Walsall.
