Supporters Summit 2013

The Supporters Summit is a joint event organised by Supporters Direct and the Football Supporters Federation aimed at bringing supporters together to discuss the challenging issues facing the game.

The annual event will this year take place at the FA National Development Centre, St. Georges Park, Burton on the 21st/22nd June 2013. The Supporters Summit will welcome fans from around Britain and will also welcome delegates representing supporters clubs and groups from across Europe.

Topics to be discussed in the workshop sessions will include:

- Sustainability or Bust
- Fan engagement - making sense for clubs and supporters
- Fans and Good Governance
- How to protect your stadia as an asset of community value
- Reclaim our Game
- Match Day Experience
- Redressing the balance: Women in football

We as a member owned football club are an integral part of the supporters direct movement and likewise over the years the Supporters Direct organisation have given us invaluable help and advice in running and owning our own football club. We as co-owners more than anyone else should be interested and have our say in how football is expected to develop in the future. So why not get yourself along to the National Development Centre in June and have your say, after all it’s not as if there is any football on!
