Women's team win against Mossley Hill LFC

FC’s women continued their pre-season build-up with a comfortable victory over Mossley Hill LFC. Mixed sunshine and showers stopped the adjacent cricket match, but only served to refresh the gently sloping pitch and cool down the travelling fans.

Goals from Kirsty Chambers and Beth Tattersall resulted from FC’s high percentage of posession and Mossley Hill struggled to make any real impact.

Mossley Hill’s1st team play in the Northern Women’s Combination Football League and their reserves play in the North West Womens Regional League (Div 1 south) so once again FC’s women played above their level and not found wanting.
