mxData signs new two-year sponsorship deal with FC United

FC United is delighted to announce that its main club sponsor mxData has renewed its sponsorship of the club for the next two seasons.

It’s a massive boost to our football club as we gear up for an important year that will see FC United build and move into a new ground of our own in Moston, north Manchester. The mobile app developer, most well known for their Tubemap and myTrains apps came on board in summer 2011 and has supported the club’s community work ever since.

FC United general manager Andy Walsh welcomed the company’s continued involvement with the club: “Over the last two seasons, the company has become a hands-on partner as well as a sponsor. We are very grateful to mxData staff who have been helping out the club and our community work on a practical basis, attending community work sessions and offering work experience placements. It has proved to be an excellent partnership for FC and mxData and we are delighted to be working with them for a further two seasons."

mxData chief executive, David James, commented: “We fully endorse what FC United are all about; a large group of people working together with a common purpose. When we decided to sponsor FC United we were looking for a different kind of sponsorship arrangement and the relationship has had a positive impact on our company helping us to create a stronger team of colleagues as a result of working with FC.

“Everyone has embraced the values of co-operation and teamwork and it is great to have played a part in the club’s community work and to be able to give something back in such a meaningful way,??? said James.

From the outset, the partnership between FC United and mxData has been one where both club and company have looked to do things differently by making a real difference in the communities where FC United work. The value that mxData has been able to add to that work can be seen in the many successful schemes and initiatives that the club are involved in in communities across Manchester and the wider area.
