Latest match-day fundraising update

Latest match-day fundraising updateThere were 670 Pound for the Ground tickets sold at the Blyth game last Saturday and the winning ticket number was 1014 - and as yet has not been claimed - this left £470 for the Development Fund.

Once again the barrels were off to a flyer thanks to Tim, who is now domiciled in Spain, who swapped us £160 for the 160 euros (all in small change) that we had accumulated. So, when all the loose change was totted up we had a grand total of £284. Also in the collection was a large bag of various foreign and obsolete coins, which will be sorted and exchanged for real money. Finally, another 20 euros in small change was counted.

We had a barrel travel to the Moston ’Spade in the Ground’ ceremony and the AGM last week and it collected £107. In addition Brenda once again sold her delicious cakes at the AGM, which raised another £34. This in total made another £141 for the Development Fund.

Many thanks to all who have contributed recently and don’t forget to have a good search for that unclaimed ticket - 1014 for the £200 prize.

Just a final thanks for all who have bought or taken Christmas raffle tickets to sell. The response has been overwhelming, but do please bring sold ticket stubs and money next Saturday to the Worksop game if possible. The draw is on 21 December, so we can accept them up to and including that date - but the sooner you can get them returned the better please.
