FCUM Review v Chorley

Tuesday’s FCUM Review contains a veritable mixed bag. We spend a day with FC United’s coach educator Adam Jones to see what he gets up to when he isn’t playing for the Reds or getting injured. We also have a chat with his team mate Tom Greaves, who answers the Stoppage Time questions with aplomb.

We take a visit out to Blackley to the Lakeside Cafe to see what FC has been up to there and we chat with a volunteer about how getting involved with the club led to full time employment following a redundancy that put him out of work for the first time in 30 years.

Added to that we have the story of how one of FC’s most famous anthems came into the world. Following a recent, inaccurate article in a local newspaper which included an incorrect theory of the birth of Under the Boardwalk, we thought we best set the record straight.
