It will contain Margy’s thoughts on Saturday and the challenge that lies ahead with Ashton United, news, stats, match report and some cracking pictures from our visit to Barwell on Saturday. Are you on any of them?

We would like to give some background on the process involved with putting together Tuesday’s programme, by way of explaining why it is smaller and cheaper than usual.

Due to results on Saturday our play-off opponents were only confirmed that evening once ours and Ashton’s final positions were known. In order to print, dry, cut, fold and staple the 800 copies of the publication together in time for the match, our printers needed the artwork by first thing Monday morning.

Therefore we had to put the programme together on Sunday. Usually a full-sized programme takes anything up to two weeks to put together, in terms of planning, administration, writing, editing and design work (including picking and processing pictures). So we hope you understand why we have a smaller edition for the game tonight.

Tonight’s issue has been put together on a voluntary basis.
