Fundraising totals from Fylde game

We had a good start this week to the barrel collection with the £62 that we swapped for a pile of foreign notes from last week’s barrels. Due to the large crowd at the Tameside Stadium there was a cornucopia of mixed bags, loose change, notes and foreign stuff. When it was all counted, the Development Fund coffers will be swelled by a magnificent amount of £407 from our generous supporters. There was also another 20 euros and some foreign notes and a rake of foreign coins old and new, that can be turned into cash for the DF. So a big thanks to all who contributed and for Curzon for hosting our game at such short notice.

The Pound for the Ground ticket sales brought in £905 so with the £200 to the winner that means that £705 was raised for club funds from ticket sales. The winning ticket was number 3102 and so far it has not been claimed so please check your wallets, pockets and purses. If you have the winning ticket then you win £200.

The proceeds of the half-time draw at cup matches goes to club funds rather than DF. This means that the DF gained a grand total of £407 from the Fylde game.

Therefore, our running total for the Development Fund at home games so far this season now stands at £8,140.
