Fundraising totals from the Ashton United game

Fundraising totals from the Ashton United gameTuesday night’s game against Ashton United had the highest attendance for an FC United home game this season and another very healthy fundraising haul which takes us over £10,000 raised for our Development Fund from home games this season.

The barrel collection total was £202 thanks to a £70 contribution from our catering crew who once again put tea and coffee out in the clubroom and had a tray for donations. In addition there was £15 from some swapped foreign money at the Post Office plus the usual very generous donations from our matchgoers.

Our Pound for the Ground sellers sold 685 tickets and after deduction £200 for the winner, £485 goes into the DF. The winning ticket was number 209 and was claimed by one of our members who paid for PFTG tickets for every game at the start of the season. Otherwise known as one of the "Armchair Army", they are unable to get to many games but still want to contribute by listening in to FCUM Radio and having a ticket for the PFTG draw.

This means that the DF gained a grand total of £687 from the Ashton United game. Big thanks to everyone who chipped in once again.

That means that our running total for the Development Fund at home games so far this season now stands at £10,383.
