Job Advert - Community and Education Manager

FC United’s Community and Education Manager, Robin Pye is leaving for pastures new. Robin has decided to change career and the club is looking to appoint a replacement to continue the excellent work that Robin has developed and managed for the last seven years.

The role will be full time but a job share would be considered. The work involves managing and developing the club’s award winning community engagement work and education programmes plus the research and completion of funding bids.

FC United is extremely proud of our community and education programme and we are looking to appoint the right individual to lead and help expand this important area of work.

The post holder will report to the General Manager and the right candidate will have experience in community development work and/or an education background. We are looking for someone with a clear commitment to FC United’s stated aims and a proven track record.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate experience in the following key areas:

a) Successfully securing and managing funding bids.
b) Managing staff and volunteers.
c) Education and community engagement work.
d) Able to work independently with experience of developing strategic plans.
