Bumper 44-page souvenir edition of your matchday programme

The visit of the newly crowned Portuguese champions Benfica to FC United’s new Broadhurst Park ground in Moston before a sell-out 4,000 crowd promises to be a night to remember and we’ve produced a bumper 44-page souvenir edition of the FCUM Review to mark the occasion.

The programme is packed with original content that not only celebrates a landmark fixture but also our 10 year history of supporter ownership and doing things differently.

Be warned, manager Karl Marginson’s column may bring a lump to the throat as he reminisces about the early days when the club had to scrape around to find footballs to play with. He talks about how privileged he feels to have been involved with the club since the very start and the vision and belief of those who have made the club what it is today.

There’s a three-page special highlighting all you need to know about our new ground, including how the ground is set to become the first bee-friendly football stadium in the country. We have a two-page interview with Board member Adam Brown on our 10 year struggle to build a ground and a potted history of the club with some great memories.

We have an in-depth interview with general manager Andy Walsh, reprinted from fanzine Red News, revealing some fascinating insights about the campaigns against the Glazers and the role played by Alex Ferguson at the time. There is also a “Thanks for the memories??? spread highlighting some of our supporters’ favourite memories since our formation in 2005 and there’s a moving poem from Pete Crowther that deserves the widest possible audience.

We celebrate our championship winning year in words and pictures and we also reflect back on Manchester United’s first European Cup final played at Wembley exactly 47 years ago against tonight’s illustrious opponents. Speaking of which, we have five pages on Benfica, including an interview with supporter, blogger and Benfica TV contributor Joao Goncalves, who says some great things about FC United and gives us the low down on some of those who’ll be lining up against us tonight.

There’s also a lovely interview with BBC 6 Music presenter Stuart Maconie, who spoke to us over a brew in Salford about how he’s become a little smitten by the enthusiasm and radical stance of FC United’s supporters.

Packed full of great pictures, information and news you won’t find anywhere else, this bumper 44-page souvenir edition of the FCUM Review is sure to be a collector’s item and is not to be missed. If you want to get your hands on one, be sure to track down one of our sellers at the match and buy your copy before they sell out. Once they are gone, they are gone.
