Travel information for supporters coming to FC United v Tamworth match

We want everyone to get to the ground easily whilst minimising disruption associated with match day travel. This is why we are encouraging people to use public transport whenever possible to minimise traffic in and around Broadhurst Park.

Please note: There are likely to be major effects on traffic in the Ancoats area as a result of the closure of the Mancunian Way due to a 15ft hole in the road.

Football special buses from Manchester city centre

First buses will run two football special buses from Stevenson’s Square in the Northern Quarter, (Stop TE). The price for a single fare is £1.50 which you will need to pay to the driver when boarding the bus. Please note: since this is a special service, no other tickets such as "First day"/Day saver, or "First Week" etc can be used on this service. The buses have wheelchair access.

Departure times:
Stevenson’s square: 14:00 and 14:20
Broadhurst Park: Buses will be waiting on Lightbowne Road after the match, ready to leave once they are full.

Metrolink
You can get the Metrolink tram to Newton Heath and Moston (Rochdale line) where there is a FREE Shuttle Bus to the ground. by clicking here.

Parking:
Manchester Creative & Media Academy (M9 7SS) 150 spaces - £3 FREE shuttle to ground
St Matthews School (M40 0EW) 150 spaces - £3
Broadway Pub (M40 3NL) 40 spaces - Free
Bluebell Pub (M40 9PY) 45 spaces - Free
FC Lounge Moston (M40 9JQ) 40 spaces – Free

There is also on street parking along Lightbowne Road, Nuthhurst Road (south side only) & Moston Lane (east side only - do not park on west side of street)

You MUST avoid parking on:
- St Marys Road and streets off it.
- The west side of Moston Lane and all the streets off it – you can park on the Broadhurst Fields side.
- The residential streets off Nuthurst Road.
