NEW PLAYER: Regan Linney

Regan Linney (22) is a centre forward who joins FC United from Bamber Bridge.

The popular young striker is a product of Bamber Bridge’s Academy graduating the Brig’s first team as a 17 year old in 2015.

Regan played under Neil Reynolds at Bamber Bridge scoring the second goal in Bamber Bridge’s Intergro League Cup final win against Grantham Town in 2017 as well as helping Brig gain promotion to the Northern Premier League in 2018.

Last season he had a long lay off due to an injury but returned to the Bamber Bridge’s starting XI, helping Brig secure Northern Premier League status for another season.

Regain said “FC United are a huge club at this level and the thought of playing in front of the fans is a big pull. I’ve played under Reno at Bamber Bridge and I wanted to link up with him again. I’m here to win things and I can’t wait to get going”
